Provincial Nomination Programs

Provincial Nomination Programs

This program includes specific provinces. The PNP nomination means that various provinces of Canada will choose and nominate various individuals who have signed in to immigrate and wish to settle down in a particular place in Canada. Every Canadian province and territory has its unique PNP program with respect to the Express Entry immigration.

Enhanced Provincial Nomination

Most Canadian provinces and territories are able to nominate a certain number of candidates through the Express Entry system to meet local and provincial labor market needs. These portions of the PNPs are known as 'enhanced' nominations.

Base Provincial Nomination

Provinces and territories are also able to make nominations under their regular, or 'base', PNP streams outside the Express Entry system.

PNP's in Canada are always looking for eligible and well-informed candidates trying to get citizenships and PRs. A nominee is always required to submit an application for PR status to IRCC. Only Nunavut and Quebec are not included in governments PNP
